It is Important for Our Community to Count Everyone in 2010.
By law, the information you put on your census form cannot be shared with anyone else – not the police, not your landlord, not the IRS or Medicaid – NO ONE can have your personal information. It’s SAFE.
The Census is a count of everyone residing in the United States.
All residents must be counted – people of all races and ethnic groups, both citizens and non-citizens. Census information is used to make decisions on where to build new roads, hospitals, schools, senior citizen centers and more. Every year, the federal government can allocate more than $400 billion to states and communities, based in part on census data.
Make sure your community is counted!
