The Town of Chilhowie will be sponsoring the 2013 Christmas Parade on December 7, 2013 at 1 p.m. The annual Christmas Parade begins at the intersection of Highway 11 and Walton Avenue (in front of New People’s Bank) and disbands at the Chilhowie High School. Immediately following the parade Santa Claus will be at the Old High School for pictures. Parents or guardians must bring their own camera.

The Town of Chilhowie is celebrating its 100th birthday. There will also be a Centennial Celebration held at the Old High School immediately following the parade. Cake and refreshments will be available.

Anyone interested in participating in the parade please contact Felicia Eller at the Town Hall (276-646-3232) or email chilhowie.eller@chilhowie.org. There are no entry fees and everyone is welcome to help the Town of Chilhowie celebrate the Holidays. The parade line up is between 12 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 11 and Walton Avenue, in between the New People's Bank and the Fire Administration Building.

Parade participants are not allowed to throw candy, they must hand out candy and all candy must be individually wrapped. Horses are not allowed to enter the Christmas Parade. If there are any questions or concerns please feel free to contact Felicia Eller.
