“Chilhowie has been my home since I was a child and I wouldn’t have
it any other way. The town is a great place to raise children and have
real-estate. Our small size allows for a comfortable home-town
atmosphere for all of our citizens. Visitors are made to feel right at
home whether they’re here for an extended stay of just passing through.
The people here are one big happy family, at least most days of the
week, and we pride ourselves on our devotion to the future generations
of the town. Chilhowie is a great place to live. The town may be small
in size but we always have activities available for our citizens to get
