USER AGREEMENT FOR THE
Any
individual or group wishing to make reservations for the use of a specific area
and time for the Town of Chilhowie Recreation Park must make these requests with
the Town Manager or his appointee and complete this user agreement.
THE
USER HEREBY AGREES TO:
1.
Insure that no damage occurs to property beyond normal wear and tear,
and;
2.
Insure that no alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on premises, and
3.
Insure that a

Insure that no activity of any kind takes place on/or at the softball
field before
5.
Report any injury or equipment damage to the Town Manager, police officer
or recreation director, and;
6.
To reserve a shelter, the user will pay $10.00 per shelter for a group of
less than 40 persons, $30.00 per shelter for a group between 41 and 100 persons,
$100.00 per shelter for a group between 101 and 200 persons.
The entire park (including all shelters, basketball courts and stage) may
be rented for $300.00. If the renter
wants exclusive use of the softball field a separate user agreement must be
signed, executed and paid in full, and;

The use of all or any part of the Chilhowie Recreation Park for the
charging of admission for an event is expressly reserved for the Town of
Chilhowie, or groups in conjunction with the Town of Chilhowie such as the
Chilhowie Fire Department, The Rescue Squad, and the Chilhowie Apple Festival,
and;
8.
Insure that no fee be charged to churches or charitable organizations.
9.
Insure that all groups are responsible for their own clean up, which
includes pick-up and removal of all trash and debris, and replacing all items
such a picnic table, etc., in their proper place, and;
10.
Insure that if an activity is planned and is completed in wet conditions,
the park be repaired to at least the condition before the park was reserved,
and;
11.
Arrange with the Chief of Police for additional security necessary for
the event, charges of which shall be $50.00 per hour per policeman and car, (two
hours minimum) and $25.00 per additional policeman per hour, payable to the Town
of Chilhowie prior to the event. The
assigning of the number of policemen shall be based upon police chief's
discretion, and;

The use of the stage shall be a flat fee of $75.00 unless the entire park
is rented, in which case there is no additional fee.

The Town reserves the right to stop any activity if any of the above
rules are violated or to stop activities if inclement weathers so dictates or
any other condition warrants as determined by the Chief of Police or Town
Manager or their Agents.

The town does not discriminate against any person or group based on race,
religion, sex, handicap or national origin.
