The Town of Chilhowie Town Council is firmly committed to a healthy balance of the mind, body, and spirit of all of its citizens. They created the Wellness and Parks Department to help the citizens of Chilhowie find this balance.

The Wellness and Parks Department is excited about bringing new exciting events and activities to the community. The next time you find yourself saying “there is nothing to do in Chilhowie,” be sure to check the Around Town calendar on our website. You would be surprised at the events we have planned Around Town and what is to come.

Announcements are also placed on water bills, flyers are posted in local businesses and the Chilhowie Public Library, and public service announcements are advertised on z103.5 and 93.9, FM94. Activities are also listed in the Calendar of Events section of local newspapers.  There are many avenues for you to be informed of what’s happening Around Town.
